We believe everyone should have access to affordable, quality healthcare which is why we started Bloom Health and Wellness. Located in Hillsboro, Texas, our practice is dedicated to bringing quality health to the individuals, families and employers of this community.


Our mission is to provide patient centered healthcare that focuses on overall wellness and quality of life.


As a patient at Bloom Health and Wellness, you pay your provider directly, just like you pay a gym membership. Just like you don't use your auto insurance for basic maintenance, you don't need expensive health insurance for most of your healthcare needs. Go beyond the limitations of the insurance-driven world and pay for care directly; insurance does not dictate how we provide care.

Amy Burden

Family Nurse Practitioner, Owner

As a Family Nurse Practitioner and owner of Bloom Health and Wellness, my goal is to make you comfortable with your healthcare and include you as the most important member of your healthcare team. I love the Direct Primary Care model because it allows me to spend time with my patients so that together we can make the best decisions to reach your optimal health.


I have been working under the Direct Primary Care model of healthcare since becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2019. Prior to that I worked as a Med-Surg nurse, Cardiac nurse, and Clinical Nurse Educator.  I am so excited to finally be working in my home community and providing an affordable and convenient solution to healthcare to those that need it.
